CREATION UP CLOSE

Crow calling, Poole Harbour.

A Sunday afternoon in January My wife and I were watch the Crows on the foreshore of Poole Harbour, finding small Clams and opening them by carrying them up in the air and dropping them on the stones. There was nothing scraggy about these healthy smart birds, not easy to get a good picture due to their dark plumage, but the low afternoon light seemed to bring out the detail. I took these shots with my Tamron SP AF 200-500 f5-6.3 Di LD lens.
